What is a philosophy cafe? It is an open discussion in a public forum about an important and interesting topic. Some examples of past topics include: taking things philosophically, living the good life, what does it mean to contribute to society? what is the role of sincerity in today's society, and many more. Everyone who comes is encouraged to participate, formal training in philosophy is not required, and there is no fee involved. A different question is selected as the topic for each session; join our email list and you will receive the question of inquiry in advance. In short, a philosophy cafe is a place for having a good quality discussion. |
