The Village Lyceum is Baltimore's own Lyceum

The Village Lyceum builds communities of inquiry of like-minded folks joining together to share common interests. Its a place to expand horizons, develop new friends and be inspired about new avenues of exploration. We seek to offer free classes to the Baltimore metro community which highlight cultural heritage and systems of meaning as well as practical skills and hobbies. We believe adult education is best approached on a peer to peer level, in which all are teachers and all are learners in shared learning contracts. We also believe that people bring much knowledge already with them and that experience in the class itself can be the best teacher.
